Estimated Cost for the Central Project

Westland Irrigation District (WID) contracted with IRZ Consulting of Hermiston, Oregon to complete a feasibility study. The purpose of the study was to determine the approximate capital cost of constructing a pipeline in northwestern Umatilla County, Oregon. The pipeline would convey water from the Columbia River for irrigation. The total capacity of the system would be 45 cubic feet per second (cfs). The study was to consider an entirely new pipeline with necessary pump station and is referred to herein as the Central Pressurized Pipeline (45cfs).
